Odabashian is proud to collaborate with Studio & Projects in presenting the launch of our latest carpet series, including Okra, Echoic I, and Echoic II.
The Echoic rug collection represents a culmination of design explorations that delve into the juxtaposition of rigid and organic grids, asymmetric rhythms, and natural forms. Inspired by the vibrant textiles of West Africa and African American culture, as well as the influential works of modernist artists like Felrath Hines, Paul Klee, and Ruth Asawa, these rugs embody a fusion of cultural influences.
The pieces are part of the Bridge exhibition presented by Verso Gallery in Bridgehampton, New York beginning in July 2023.
